The hotel had rooms that were adequate but small, and not exceptional. They were located at the end of a long corridor, providing a light, airy, and spacious area. Although a bit small, they were still comfortable. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional, especially considering drink drive laws. The location was good for touring the area, set in a quiet location with nearby facilities. The dining offered tasty options, with some room for improvement in portion sizes. Overall, a decent stay with friendly staff and enjoyable surroundings.

The hotel is a gem with exceptional cleanliness and a lovely dog-friendly garden, but the rooms could be more spacious. The service is very friendly, and the dining experience needs a little improvement. The location is perfect for exploring Northumbria, offering great value for a beautiful setting.

Rooms

The rooms were clean and offered everything we expected, but a bit small for a medium-size dog. Two spacious doubles stood out, but our twin beds were not very restful.

The staff were very friendly. They have a dedicated canine-friendly lounge where you can dine with your pooch, which was a nice touch.

The dining experience was mixed. While the food was lovely and well worth the money, some aspects like breakfast could use an improvement in portion size for value.

The hotel is in a lovely location, very clean and well-equipped with a beautiful garden, making it a fantastic find. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and always ready to help. The dining experience was great, featuring local produce, but breakfast could offer a bit more variety. A real gem for exploring Northumberland's Heritage Coast.

The room was a bit noisy overlooking the yard, but as early risers, it wasn't a big issue. The room was a bit dated and small, especially the wardrobe and toilet. However, it was clean and cozy.
